Which campervan should you hire when travelling with children?
It all depends on the size of your family! If you’re travelling as a group of 4, a family campervan such as the Volkswagen California will be perfectly suited. If you’re 5 (2 adults + 3 children), we recommend choosing a model with 5 seats, such as the Hanroad Trek 5 campervan.
How many people can sleep in a family campervan?
Our family campervan hires offer two sleeping areas: one double bed in the pop-top roof and another double bed in the lounge area below. You can therefore sleep 4 people comfortably.
If your children are still young enough to share a bed, sleeping 5 (2 adults + 3 children) is also possible. However, if you’re worried about space at night, it may be wise to bring an additional tent!
Are family campervan hires suitable for young children?
Yes, our family campervan hires are perfectly suited for families with young children. You’ll find plenty of storage for baby essentials and practical solutions to make the journey as comfortable as possible. We also offer optional equipment such as baby seats or booster seats to ensure the safety of your little ones.
What equipment is included in a family campervan hire?
All our family campervan hires come with a fully equipped kitchen kit (plates, cutlery, frying pan, utensils, etc.), comfortable beds, a table, power sockets and a refrigerator.
Some models also feature an outdoor shower and optional dry toilet for even greater comfort.
