Quels équipements trouve-t-on dans une cuisine de van aménagé ?

Les constructeurs de van aménagé habitable sont de véritables magiciens : dans ce petit espace, ils parviennent à faire tenir une plaque de cuisson deux feux, un réfrigérateur, un petit évier et un meuble de rangement. De quoi cuisiner comme si vous étiez à la maison, tout en profitant d’un extérieur pouvant changer tous les jours selon votre volonté !

S’agit-il d’un vrai réfrigérateur ou d’une glacière électrique ?

Les vans aménagés avec une vraie cuisine dédiée, comme le van Volkswagen California, le van Hanroad Trek 5 ou le van Mercedes Marco Polo, sont équipés d’un vrai réfrigérateur à compression qui fonctionne sur la batterie du van. Celui-ci est réglable, et continue de fonctionner même lorsque le moteur est à l’arrêt. Ce qui vous permettra de conserver tous vos aliments quand le van est garé ! Certains modèles de fourgon aménagé sont équipés de grands réfrigérateurs “trimix” qui fonctionnent de manière automatique sur la batterie, les réserves de gaz ou le 230 V quand le fourgon aménagé est branché.

Quels accessoires sont fournis avec la cuisine du van tout équipé ?

Bien sûr, il serait inutile d’installer tout ce beau matériel sans les accessoires qui vous permettront de cuisiner à bord de votre van aménagé tout équipé. Est-il facile de recharger les réserves de gaz et d’eau d’un van avec cuisine ?

Les plaques de cuisson fonctionnent effectivement au gaz, des plaques électriques étant trop énergivores, la bouteille étant facilement remplaçable si besoin, généralement par l’arrière du van. En ce qui concerne l’eau, c’est encore plus simple puisqu’une trappe sur la paroi extérieure gauche du van aménagé permet de remplir directement le réservoir grâce à un flexible.

What equipment are there in a fully equipped kitchen campervan?

The builders of campervan hire are real magicians: in this small space, they manage to fit a two-burner hob, a refrigerator, a small sink and a storage unit. Enough to cook as if you were at home, while enjoying an exterior that can change every day as you wish!

Is this a real refrigerator or an electric cooler?

Campervan with a real dedicated kitchen, such as the Volkswagen California van, the Hanroad Trek 5 van or the Mercedes Marco Polo van, are equipped with a real compression refrigerator that runs on the van's battery. This is adjustable, and continues to run even when the engine is stopped. This will allow you to keep all your food when the van is parked! Some converted van models are fitted with large “trimix” refrigerators which operate automatically on the battery, gas reserves or 230 V when the converted van is plugged in.

What accessories are provided with the kitchen of the fully equipped van?

Of course, it would be pointless to install all this beautiful equipment without the accessories that will allow you to cook on board your fully equipped campervan. At WeVan, we don't take the term “fully equipped” lightly! This is why the rental of a campervan with a kitchen comes with the provision of crockery, cutlery and other utensils so that you can prepare good meals in the kitchen of your habitable van.

How easy is it to top up the gas and water reserves of a van with a kitchen?

The hobs actually work on gas, with the electric hobs consuming too much energy, the bottle being easily replaced if necessary, usually from the back of the van. As far as water is concerned, it is even simpler since a hatch on the left outer wall of the campervan allows the tank to be filled directly with a hose.
