The solid French brand for campervan fittings Hanroad (of the Pilote group) managed a tour de force with this small 5 seater made-for-action campervan ! The Hanroad Trek 5, built on the reliable Renault Trafic frame will enable you to discover the wonders of a family campervan trip, and is ideally suited for travelling with 3 young children.
Thanks to the Renault Trafic’s wide frame, the Hanroad Trek 5 provides a large living space, fitted with a table which can accomodate all and includes a compact and practical kitchenette. With 80L of storage space at your disposal (reachable when the bed is unfolded), the Hanroad Trek’s kitchen enables you to cook for five, thanks to a two-burners stove with Piezo ignition and the real 49L compression fridge. When opened, the folding roof allows you to stand up in the area that turns into the whole family living space.
In the “night” set-up, the folding roof reveals a comfortable 139 x 190 cm double bed with a plates bed base, while the rear bench in the lounge area converts in another 126 cm wide bed, perfectly flat. These two bedding areas allow 4 persons to sleep cosily, and up to 5 if 3 small children share one of the 2 beds. The Hanroad Trek 5 is one of the very few campervans allowing 5 seats on their car registration documents, but just in case, you can take along a “two seconds up and going” small tent as a complement, should you fear being too cramped at night ! Needless to say, the rear bench is equipped with the ISOFIX system for young children.
This Hanroad campervan will enable you several days of self-sufficient travels thanks to its slow-discharge auxiliary battery (charger 220 V / 16 A available on board), and to its 60 L fresh water tank ( supplying the kitchen sink and a small shower at the back of the van). What’s more, the campervan stationary heating system makes it possible to take an off-season trip and, for the most adventurous families, spend chilly, even cold nights in a snug nest.
